Kirchner Museum Davos
The Kirchner Museum Davos is dedicated to the German Expressionist painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, who lived and worked in Davos from 1917 until his death in 1938. A co-founder of the artist group Die Brücke, Kirchner is considered one of the most important figures of modern art in the twentieth century. The museum holds the world's largest collection of Kirchner's work and presents changing exhibitions alongside other artists of classical modernism and contemporary art.
