Bergbaumuseum Graubünden Schmelzboden Davos

The Bergbaumuseum Graubünden in Davos Monstein-Schmelzboden documents the long history of mining and ore-smelting in the canton of Graubünden. Exhibits cover prehistoric mining, the world of rock crystals, a UV cabinet of fluorescent minerals, the Dr Büchi mineral collection and a working "Haspel" winch from the historic mines of the Landwassertal.
