Château de Grandson

Overlooking Lake Neuchâtel, the Château de Grandson is a millennial fortress that played a central role in the Burgundian Wars. Reopened after a major 15-year restoration, the new permanent exhibition tells 1,000 years of history across 15 rooms and four floors, complemented by a programme of events and rentable historic spaces. Visitors meet the dramatic story of Charles the Bold and the wider history of medieval Switzerland through more than 100 carefully selected pieces.
