Ittinger Museum

The Ittinger Museum is part of the Kunstmuseum Thurgau complex located at Kartause Ittingen, a former Carthusian monastery in Warth, Thurgau, Switzerland. The museum presents exhibitions in the historic monastery spaces, including former cellar rooms, exploring the monastic life of the Carthusian monks alongside the canton's art collection. The Kanton Thurgau has been collecting art since 1942, resulting in a collection of tens of thousands of works. The complex also includes the Kunstmuseum Thurgau with rotating contemporary exhibitions, a café, and the charterhouse grounds.
