Abegg-Stiftung

The Abegg-Stiftung is a Swiss foundation dedicated to the collecting, preservation, and scholarly research of historical textiles, housed in a purpose-built museum in Riggisberg, in the Bernese Foothills. The complex includes a textile museum, the historic Villa Abegg residential museum, a scientific library, and a renowned textile conservation studio. The museum holds one of the world's most significant collections of ancient and medieval fabrics.
