Chesa Planta Samedan

Chesa Planta Samedan is the former family residence of the Salis and later the de Planta families, transferred to the public Fundaziun de Planta in 1943. For nearly 80 years it has served as a cultural centre and is regarded as a stronghold of Rhaeto-Romansh culture, functioning as the centre of competence for Romansh language and culture in the Upper Engadine. The site comprises a museum, library and archive, hosts language and culture weeks, and offers a year-round programme of exhibitions and lectures.
