Festungsmuseum Heldsberg

Festungsmuseum Heldsberg, near St. Margrethen in Switzerland's Rheintal, preserves one of the largest Swiss fortresses, with original features and authentic atmosphere. The site combines three museums — the Festungsmuseum Heldsberg, the Kommandobunker Grenzbrigade 8 and the Sperre Stoss — telling the story of Swiss border defence and the 1938-1945 period in the Rhine Valley.
