Heimatmuseum Sissach

The Heimatmuseum Sissach, operated by the Bürgergemeinde Sissach, is devoted to regional and local folk culture and history. Permanent displays include traditional costumes, a weapons collection and historic ribbon-weaving looms (Posamenter); recent and ongoing exhibitions have included '800 Joor Sissech', Swiss bank money-boxes, and themed shows on the Sissach-Gelterkinden railway, regional clothing, corkscrews, nativity scenes and water. Admission is free.
