Domschatz der St.-Ursen-Kathedrale
The Cathedral Treasury of St. Ursen in Solothurn is housed in two rooms inside the cathedral. The treasury chamber holds late-medieval, Gothic and especially Baroque liturgical goldsmith and silversmith works — chalices, monstrances and reliquaries by renowned Augsburg masters and Swiss makers such as Johannes Jakob Läublin, Hans Peter Staffelbach, Johann Georg Wirz and Anton Byss. The principal reliquary is the great Arca holding the head relics of Ursus and Victor. The adjoining vestment room preserves richly embroidered Catholic vestments from five centuries.
