Château et musée de Valangin

The Château et Musée de Valangin sits in the heart of the canton of Neuchâtel and was the residence of the lords of Valangin from the mid-12th century until 1566. One of the rare medieval monuments still open to visitors in the region, it offers 800 years of history across furnished rooms, ramparts, an underground passage and a permanent exhibition spread over three floors and 14 spaces. Temporary exhibitions, guided tours, treasure hunts for children and lantern-lit nighttime visits round out the programme.
