Espace alpin

Espace alpin, located in the Hameau de Verbier in the Swiss canton of Valais, gathers more than 3,000 objects that take visitors on a journey through the history of Alpine societies. Designed in 1994 by architect Pierre Dorsaz, the exhibition explores life on the alpage, vineyard work, crafts, dwellings, fauna, hydroelectric industry and the modernisation of the Alps through cable cars and tourism.
