August Deusser Museum

The Antonie Deusser-Stiftung preserves, manages and makes accessible the work of German painter August Deusser (1870-1942), a pioneer of the Rhenish avant-garde whose paintings often drew on the landscape of the Rhine. The foundation operates a virtual museum and a Museum on Demand service offering individually curated online exhibitions. Works by August Deusser are also displayed in the painter's former home, the Deusser-Haus in Monheim am Rhein, which today hosts a local-history collection.
