Alpineum Luzern

The Alpineum Museum Luzern features massive diorama paintings depicting Swiss alpine regions including Pilatus, Rigi, Jungfrau, and the Matterhorn. The exhibits showcase large-scale dioramic paintings with remarkable depth effects, created a century ago by painters Ernst Hodel sen. and jun. Additional displays include relief models, miniature buildings, and an exhibition on stereoscopic photography from 1900.
