Centre d'Art Contemporain Genève

The Centre d'Art Contemporain Genève was founded in 1974 as the Kunsthalle of Geneva and is the first contemporary art institution in French-speaking Switzerland. A pioneer and reference institution on the Swiss and international art scene, the Centre presents ambitious projects across all fields of contemporary practice including installation, music, painting, performance, photography, sculpture, dance, drawing and video art. Its programming culminates in the renowned Biennale of Moving Images. During renovation of its historic building (2025-2029), the institution offers temporary spaces in the Plaza Centre in Geneva alongside an extensive online program.
