Ecomuseum - Alte Kaserne

The Alte Kaserne in Zwischbergen is a site of the Ecomuseum Simplon, a regional ecomuseum project in the Swiss Alps born of a community initiative around the Simplon Pass. The barracks now serves as one of the museum and collection venues alongside Fort Gondo, the Goldminenmuseum and the Alter Gasthof, with exhibitions and walking offers tied to the historic Stockalperweg route and the wider Simplon territory.
