Ballyana

Ballyana is a Swiss collection and archive dedicated to preserving the industrial heritage of the Bally shoe factories and the Schönenwerd region. The museum safeguards shoes, ribbon-industry products, documents, photographs, advertising materials and personal records that document nearly 200 years of Bally history. Its permanent exhibition covers industrial history, ribbon manufacture, textiles, shoe production, fashion, advertising, the Bally family, architecture, energy and social welfare. Together with the Bally Park, Ballyana forms one of Switzerland's most complete industrial-history ensembles.
