BärenPark Bern
The BärenPark in Bern is a parkland enclosure on the Aare riverbank where the city's emblematic bears live in the heart of the Swiss capital. Operated by Tierpark Bern, it offers a chance to observe the bears in a naturalistic setting and is a key part of Bern's identity, building on a tradition of bear-keeping that gave the city its name. The park is part of the wider Tierpark Bern association, member of zoo organisations including zooschweiz, EAZA, VdZ and WAZA.
