Cabaret Voltaire

Cabaret Voltaire is the historic birthplace of the Dada movement, founded in 1916 in Zurich's old town. Today it operates as a cultural venue presenting contemporary art exhibitions in its Vaulted Cellar (Gewölbekeller), performances, talks and artist projects that engage with the legacy of Dada. The house also runs a bar and café and offers an open programme of literary, musical and performance events.
