Anna Göldi Museum

The Anna Göldi Museum in Ennenda, Glarus, Switzerland, tells the story of Anna Göldi, a maid who was the last person executed for witchcraft in Europe in 1782. The modern exhibition explores her unparalleled well-documented trial and themes of power, witchcraft, enlightenment, and eventual legal rehabilitation. The museum is housed in the historic Hänggiturm tower and is open from April through November.
