MUSEO DE SANTA CLARA LA REAL

The Museo de Santa Clara la Real is a site museum at the former convent of Santa Clara la Real in Murcia, one of the oldest religious foundations in the city. The museum preserves and interprets the remarkable remains discovered beneath and within the convent, including Islamic-era architectural elements, medieval Christian remains, and artifacts spanning several centuries of occupation. It offers a rare opportunity to explore the layered Moorish and Christian heritage of medieval Murcia in situ.
