CENTRO DE ESCULTURA DE CANDÁS. MUSEO ANTÓN

The Centro de Escultura de Candás – Museo Antón is dedicated to the Asturian sculptor Antón Rodríguez García (1911–1937), exhibiting a permanent selection of his sculptures, drawings, watercolours and paintings created between 1928 and 1936. The museum complements its permanent collection with temporary exhibitions, contemporary sculpture awards (Beca Antón), educational activities and a specialised library. It is run by the Ayuntamiento de Carreño in the seaside town of Candás.
