COLECCIÓN MUSEOGRÁFICA PALACIO DE PEDRO I-CONVENTO DE SANTA CLARA

The Colección Museográfica del Palacio de Pedro I – Convento de Santa Clara is a Mudejar monumental complex in Astudillo (Palencia) housed within the 14th-century palace of Pedro I of Castile and María de Padilla. The collection highlights mudejar wooden ceilings (alfarjes) and plasterwork, religious sculpture, goldsmithery, coins, chant books, manuscripts and a notable display of sacred art. The site is run by the Order of Franciscan Discalced Nuns (Clarisas).
