MUSEO ART NOUVEAU - ART DECO. CASA LIS

The Museo Art Nouveau y Art Deco Casa Lis in Salamanca occupies a striking early 20th-century modernist building on the ancient city walls, built for businessman Miguel de Lis. The museum houses a superb collection of decorative arts donated by Manuel Ramos Andrade, spanning the late 19th century through the Second World War, with outstanding pieces of Art Nouveau and Art Deco glass, porcelain, jewellery, sculpture, and fashion. The building itself — combining industrial iron and stained glass — is one of Spain's finest examples of modernist residential architecture.
