MUSEO DE PREHISTORIA Y ARQUEOLOGÍA DE CANTABRIA

The Museo de Prehistoria y Arqueologia de Cantabria (MUPAC) was founded in 1926 and is one of Spain's oldest regional archaeology museums. Currently housed in the Mercado del Este building in Santander, the museum holds an exceptional collection of prehistoric art reproductions, Palaeolithic tools, and archaeological finds from Cantabrian cave sites. Its holdings document human habitation in the Cantabrian region from the earliest Palaeolithic period through to the medieval era.
