MUSEO TECNOLÓGICO DEL VIDRIO

The Museo Tecnológico del Vidrio at the Real Fábrica de Cristales in La Granja de San Ildefonso is housed in a magnificent 18th-century industrial building commissioned by King Charles III during the Enlightenment. The museum presents glassmaking in didactic fashion, with collections spanning European glass from the 16th–19th centuries, La Granja royal crystal, Maumejean stained glass, and contemporary glass art. Visitors can also attend glassblowing demonstrations and workshops.
