MUSEO DE ZULOAGA

The Museo de Zuloaga is set in the former Romanesque church of San Juan de los Caballeros in Segovia, which ceramicist Daniel Zuloaga acquired in 1904 and transformed into his studio. Opened as a museum in 1997, it preserves ceramics, watercolours, and personal objects belonging to Zuloaga and his family, as well as three oil paintings and charcoal drawings by his nephew, the celebrated painter Ignacio Zuloaga. The extraordinary setting — a 12th-century Romanesque church with original capitals — makes the museum a unique cultural destination in Segovia.
