MUSEO HISTÓRICO MUNICIPAL DE ÉCIJA

The Museo Histórico Municipal de Écija is housed in the Palacio de Benamejí and explores the rich archaeological heritage of Astigi, one of the four territorial capitals of the Roman province of Baetica. The museum features prehistoric artifacts, Tartessian jewelry, Roman mosaics, and collections from one of the world's largest Visigothic and Muslim cemeteries.
