MUSEO DE VALENCINA. MONOGRÁFICO DEL YACIMIENTO PREHISTÓRICO
The Museo de Valencina is a monographic site museum dedicated to the prehistoric settlement of Valencina de la Concepcion, one of the most significant Chalcolithic (Copper Age) sites in the Iberian Peninsula, dating to the 3rd millennium BC. Located in the Aljarafe area near Seville, the museum presents the economic, social, and historical dimensions of this prehistoric community, with especially notable exhibits on copper metallurgy including ore samples, furnace reconstructions, crucibles, and tools. Visitors can also tour the nearby megalithic dolmens of La Pastora and Matarrubilla.
