MUSEO CASA DE DULCINEA EL TOBOSO

The Museo Casa Dulcinea del Toboso occupies a 16th-century house in El Toboso (Toledo) traditionally linked to the inspiration for Cervantes' Dulcinea del Toboso from Don Quijote. The building belonged to the Martínez Zarco de Morales family, and local tradition holds that doña Ana from this household inspired the Dulcinea character. The museum recreates the interior of a wealthy hidalgo home from Cervantes' era and was renovated for the 400th anniversary of Don Quijote's publication.
