MUSEO DE SANTA CRUZ

The Museo de Santa Cruz is housed in the former Hospital of Santa Cruz in Toledo, founded by Cardinal Pedro González de Mendoza and constructed in the early 16th century. The building is an architectural masterpiece featuring Greek cross design with eight wings, created by renowned architects including Antón Egas, Enrique Egas, and Alonso de Covarrubias. The museum holds extensive collections of fine arts, archaeology, and decorative arts from the region of Castilla-La Mancha.
