MUSEO DE VALLADOLID

The Museo de Valladolid is housed in the Palacio de Fabio Nelli, a magnificent Renaissance palace in the heart of Valladolid, Castilla y Leon. The museum holds an important archaeological collection spanning the Palaeolithic to the Middle Ages, with dedicated galleries for the Iron Age and the Roman period in the province. Its fine arts section features Castilian painting from the 15th and 16th centuries, tapestries, ceramics from Talavera, Puente del Arzobispo, Manises and Alcora, 17th-century furniture, Gothic carvings, and a final section on the history of the city of Valladolid.
