MUSEO DE LOS AUROROS

The Museo de los Auroros in Zarza-Capilla, Badajoz, is dedicated to the tradition of the "auroros" — members of religious brotherhoods who sing traditional devotional songs at dawn in the streets of Extremaduran villages. The museum preserves documents, images, musical instruments, costumes, and memorabilia related to this centuries-old folk-religious tradition, which remains alive in several communities across Extremadura.
