EKAINBERRI

Ekainberri is a museum and visitor centre in Zestoa, in the Basque Country of Spain, dedicated to the prehistoric Ekain Cave. Opened in 2008, it features a magnificent replica of the original Ekain Cave, whose Palaeolithic rock paintings — most famously its horses — are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Guided visits walk visitors through the cave replica and prehistoric workshops where they can learn how Stone Age people lived, hunted and made fire.
