MUSEO DE LA VERDURA
The Museo de la Verdura (Vegetable Museum) in Calahorra, La Rioja, is installed in the former 16th-century Convent of San Francisco. Calahorra is famous throughout Spain for its exceptional vegetable-growing tradition — its artichokes, asparagus, cardoons, peppers, and lettuces are prized across the country. The museum celebrates this agricultural heritage and the cultural and economic importance of market gardening in the Rioja Baja region over the centuries.
