MUSEO CARMEN THYSSEN MÁLAGA

The Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga is a fine art museum in the historic centre of Málaga, Spain, housing a private collection with a strong emphasis on 19th-century Spanish painting. Having operated for over fifteen years, the museum has expanded to integrate an extensive underground Roman archaeological site from ancient Malaca beneath the building. The collection includes works by major Spanish painters of the 1800s and features rotating temporary exhibitions.
