Museo de Ciencias Naturales de la Universidad de Zaragoza

The Museo de Ciencias Naturales of the University of Zaragoza (MCNUZ) is a university natural history museum with significant scientific collections built up over more than a century. Its holdings include the Navás Collection — one of Spain's most important entomological collections — the Lucas Mallada palaeontological collection, extensive mineral and rock specimens, and rich palaeontological material from Aragon. The museum manages several satellite centres including the Palaeontological Laboratory of Loarre, the Interpretation Centre of Villanueva de Huerva, the Museum of Dinosaurs of Arén, and the Bear Museum of Tella. Temporary exhibitions, guided visits, audioguides, and educational programmes for schools and families bring the natural history of Aragon to life throughout the year.
