CENTRO DE VISITANTES DEL MONASTERIO DE SAN JUAN DE LA PEÑA. MONASTERIO BAJO

The Real Monasterio de San Juan de la Peña is a 11th–12th century rock-cut monastery built into a dramatic cliff in the Aragonese Pyrenees. Considered the cradle of the Kingdom of Aragon, it is renowned for its pre-Romanesque church, the Pantheon of Nobles and its Romanesque cloister. Visitors can also see the Iglesia de Santa María in nearby Santa Cruz de la Serós; a single ticket grants access to all three monuments.
