CONSORCIO CASTILLO DE SAN PEDRO

The Ciudadela de Jaca is a striking 16th-century pentagonal star-shaped fortress (Castillo de San Pedro) commissioned by King Philip II to defend the Pyrenean frontier of Aragon. Today it is open to the public as a cultural site combining the historic ramparts with the Museo de Miniaturas Militares, awarded Best Popular Culture Museum of Spain 2025, plus temporary exhibitions, theatrical visits, family activities and a virtual tour.
