LAPIDARIUM (MUSEO DE EPIGRAFÍA)

The Lapidarium (Museo de Epigrafía) at Valeria Romana displays stone inscriptions, sculptures, and artefacts from the ancient Roman city of Valeria, located in the Cuenca province of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Valeria was an important Roman municipality active from the 2nd century BCE to the 8th century CE, and the lapidarium presents highlights from its rich archaeological heritage alongside the ruins of the Roman city, dramatic limestone gorges, and a visitor centre.
