MUSEO DEL ACEITE DE OLIVA

The Museo del Aceite de Oliva in Cabra, Cordoba, is housed in the Molino Viejo, a 19th-century stone industrial building that exemplifies Andalusian oil-mill architecture. The museum traces the history of olive oil extraction through a rich collection of machinery and implements, including Roman amphora reproductions, oil lamps, a rare 17th-century oak and limestone beam press, a Greek-Roman wedge press, a chapel press, esparto grass processing equipment, and a complete working mill with grinder, pump, and hydraulic press. It offers one of the most comprehensive surveys of olive oil heritage in Andalusia.
