MUSEO DEL MONASTERIO DE SAN PAIO DE ANTEALTARES

The Museo del Monasterio de San Paio de Anteltares is housed within the Benedictine monastery of San Pelayo in Santiago de Compostela, founded over 525 years ago and one of the oldest continuously inhabited monasteries in Galicia. The museum preserves and displays a rich collection of religious art, liturgical objects, and historical artefacts accumulated by the Benedictine community over centuries, offering visitors a window into monastic life and devotion at the foot of the Apostle's shrine.
