MUSEO DE PREHISTORIA Y PALEONTOLOGÍA DE ORCE
The Museo de Prehistoria y Paleontologia de Orce is located in Orce, Granada, Andalusia, and is home to one of Europe's most significant collections of early human remains. The museum's approximately 24,000 pieces include fossils and artifacts from the nearby sites of Fuente Nueva, Venta Micena, and Barranco Leon, which have yielded evidence of some of the earliest human presence in Europe, dating back nearly 1.4 million years. The museum makes this extraordinary heritage accessible to the public through permanent and temporary exhibitions.
