MUSEO DE BIELSA JOSÉ MARÍA ESCALONA

The Museo de Bielsa is housed in the beautifully restored Renaissance town hall (Casa Consistorial, 1565) on Plaza Mayor in Bielsa, Huesca. It documents the collective memory of the valley through exhibits on traditional economy, local language (belsetán), the 1938 civil war bombardment and French exile, and a recreation of a traditional Pyrenean house with carnival displays.
