MUSEO DEL FERROCARRIL DE MADRID

The Museo del Ferrocarril de Madrid is housed in the historic Delicias railway station, inaugurated in 1880 and one of the finest examples of industrial architecture in Spain. Opened to the public in 1984 by the Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles, the museum traces the historical evolution of the railway and its role in shaping Spain's economy and modern society. Exhibits include historic locomotives, carriages, and railway heritage objects, alongside a rich archive and library on Spanish rail history.
