FUNDACIÓN REAL FÁBRICA DE TAPICES

The Real Fábrica de Tapices (Royal Tapestry Factory) is a historic Spanish manufacturer of tapestries, carpets, and embroidered hangings, in continuous operation since 1721. The factory specializes in handcrafted production and the restoration of historic textiles, including pieces from the Spanish Crown's heritage, and is the only restoration workshop in Spain certified to ISO 9001. Visitors can take guided tours of the historic facilities (Mon–Fri, 10:00–13:00), explore a virtual visit, and access the Historic Archive and Library to learn about three centuries of Spanish tapestry tradition.
