Brahestads museum: Packhouse

Pakkahuoneen museo (the Packhouse Museum) is housed in the city of Raahe's culturally significant former customs and packhouse, built in 1848 and once also home to the Sailors' House. Largely preserved in its original form, the museum's core collection consists of objects donated in the 19th century — natural curiosities, utilitarian items and exotic souvenirs brought back from distant lands — alongside later additions documenting the history of Raahe.
