Archaeological Museum of Patras

The Archaeological Museum of Patras is housed in a purpose-built 5,955-square-metre building completed in 2008 to designs by architect Theofanis Bobotis, located at the northern entrance to the city. Its permanent exhibition, opened in 2011, presents finds dating from the 4th millennium BC to the 4th century AD from Patras and the wider region of southern and western Achaea. The museum includes three permanent galleries, a temporary exhibitions hall, an amphitheatre, conservation laboratories and visitor amenities.
