Capodistrias Museum
The Capodistrias Museum (Centre of Capodistrian Studies) is housed at the Capodistrias family country estate "Koukouritsa" in Evropouli, Corfu. The museum is dedicated to the prominent Corfiot Count Ioannis Capodistrias, the first Governor of independent Greece and a leading European diplomat of the 19th century. Its narrative follows his life from his Corfu childhood to his assassination in Nafplion, drawing on family collections, a digital archive, the historic gardens of the estate and a permanent exhibition.
