The Museum "Lychnostatis" is an autonomous private foundation, operating since July 1992. It has its origins in a private collection formed over a period of thirty years. The vast work of construction was carried out by the Markakis family and local workers, emphasizing traditional materials and methods. The collections include a variety of exhibits, and visitors are encouraged to engage with the displays.
