Brain-Watkins House Museum (Est. 1881)
The Brain-Watkins House Museum in Tauranga, New Zealand preserves the 1881 home of boatbuilder Captain Joseph Denham Brain, showcasing nearly a century of domestic life through original collections. One of only seven single-family homes in New Zealand surviving as a house museum with original contents, it is registered by Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga as a Historic Place Category 2.
