Brain-Watkins House Museum (Est. 1881)

Brain-Watkins House Museum is a Historic Place Category 2 registered by Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga. Built in 1881 by boatbuilder Captain Joseph Denham Brain, this residence showcases 98 years of family life and is operated by the Tauranga Historical Society, featuring an eclectic mix of artwork, costumes, textiles, and furniture.
